Being a small business owner I swiftly learned that marketing is your number one responsability. As a small business owner in both the food service and wedding industry I learned about marketing to B2C and B2B in some very unique niches. From 1990 until 2005 I owned and operated Indulgence Custom Bakeshop. Owning a bakery is as much about being a leader as it is about culinary skills. It is about logistics and management. It is about marketing and sales. It is about navigating the waters of local ordinances. Marketing was and still is my passion. I have learned it from the inside through trial and error and have become a respected authourity in marketing for wedding professionals. Through my website, Think Like A Bride, I have I have expanded my skills to include website design, blogging, social media marketing and branding for the small business professional. My reputation for no-nonsense advice offered in a succinct, humorous tone has led to feature articles in industry magazines in both the US and Great Britain. I have spoken on various national, regional and local stages to often standing room only crowds. I have developed and presented seminars on many topics teaching wedding professionals how to market their business.
