I consider myself an accomplished advertising and communications professional offering clients channel agnostic strategic, marketing and communication solutions to deliver on business growth. Starting out as a Microbiologist for OK Bazaars for 8 years, I realized that I needed to be in Marketing and Communications. In 1992, I completed a Marketing Management Diploma and shortly thereafter, found myself in advertising at FCB, spending 5 years working on the FNB account. With over 15 years’ experience, I have had the privilege of working with highly talented individuals, on large blue chip clients. These have included Nokia, TOTAL SA, First National Bank, Nestle, L’Oreal, Renault and Nokia, to name a few. In 2010, I led the agency team that launched the Gautrain. This campaign not only went on to be recognised as the best marketing campaign in the world by the Global AirRail Awards but delivered on the client’s business objectives. I pride myself on being able to build brands and strong teams and most importantly, in getting the job done!
