As part of my internship with Concern I worked on a HIV/AIDS awareness project - "Positive Youth 2". The project is aimed at educating 14-16 year old youths in India and Ireland about numerous aspects of HIV transmission and prevention while addressing issues with HIV related stigma. During my internship I wrote the majority of the content to be included on the 10 minute animation and liaised with production companies and HIV support groups.

Selected after a lengthy application process to travel to Gros Morne in northern Haiti for 2 months to work on development projects focusing on education and construction. Over the 2 month period I assisted in setting up and running a summer camp for approximately 400 local children. I was also part of a construction team that built 9 houses for families displaced by Hurricane Jeanne in 2004.
