Longtime Dallas Interventional Radiologist Dr. Jam
Dr. James Summa is a veteran interventional radiologist in Dallas, Texas, who practiced with White Rock Radiology for more than 15 years. In this role, he offered a full range of outpatient diagnostic solutions and provides services such as CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and stereotactic breast biopsy. Dr. James Summa also conducted organ biopsies in order to identify malignancies and performed diagnostic and therapeutic angiograms related to conditions such as arterial bleeding and traumatic injury. He is also experienced in non-operative radiology-guided needle and catheter procedures. Dr. Summa completed his MD at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland and pursued further radiology studies at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He completed his fellowship in interventional radiology at the University of Texas (UT) Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Summa co-authored a number of articles in his field while at UT. Dr. James Summa is a longtime supporter of the Dallas Mavericks and holds season tickets to the NBA team’s home games.
