Ellie interned with Jemima Key Events as they managed the Newtons Nation Road Trip. Newtons Nation is an action sports cross Australian music festival, and the road trip involved several stops at towns across regional NSW. Ellie's duties included site assessment, set up, and management, as well as managing waiver forms, newsletter signups, merchandise sales, and general administration duties, as well as liaising with local media, promotional riders, and sponsors.

Ellie's internship with Horse Family Magazine requires her to research and write articles relevant to the equestrian community, as well as be active in their extensive social media strategy, which involves post sharing and a weekly Twitter Chat. As Horse Family Magazine is based in the USA, cultural differences and international aspects must be taken into consideration.

Future Moves is a university transition program targeted at low socio-economic schools. The Ambassadors partake in discussions, activities, and presentations to and with the students to encourage them that no matter your circumstances, university is a viable and achievable option.
