Center for Arabic Culture , Somerville

At the CAC I grew our organization's presence in the community, marketed events and grew ticket sales using our web site and social media platforms. My long-term project with the CAC was renovating the website to streamline its content and improve its aesthetic appeal. This meant teaching myself the WordPress platform as well as familiarizing myself with the extent of the CAC's digital content. In March 2015 I represented the CAC at the 7th Annual Arab-American Advocacy Week in Washington D.C. At this conference I received media training from Rethink Media, and met with government officials on Capitol Hill.
