• Responsible for educating the community about the biological aspects of pediatric HIV/AIDS, the associated stigma, and treatment/prevention for the disease • Initiated mentorship programs with children affected by HIV/AIDS • Coordinate a variety of activities for the World AIDS Day event on campus including speakers, entertainment, HIV testing vans, publicity and community outreach, in addition to synchronizing the various processions from around the campus which all congregate in central campus at noon for performances. • Organizing and managing a Safe Sex Week at UCLA in the Spring. This includes overseeing an organizing committee, setting up testing vans around the campus, coordinating publicity leading up to the event, and arranging educational presentations.
