Envision media , Wagga Wagga
January 2010 - January 2011
In my younger years while I was still in high school, I did not like the idea of working 20-30 hours a week + only to make a small amount of change at the end of the week. I got into affiliate marketing selling basketball equipment and gear. For this network of sites i had ranked in the first position of google for over 30+ high traffic keyword phases. The main site was generating over 100,000 unique hits every month and continued to grow. I have since sold that network of sites and moved on to other affiliate marketing campaigns that now compromise over 100+ personal websites in multiple niche markets.
Comfort Inn , Wagga Wagga
November 2007 - July 2009
At the Comfort Inn at Wagga I was working as a part time/casual chef. At the time I needed the extra money to pay family debts. During my time in that kitchen I learned a great deal about teamwork, timing and procedures. Because it was a hotel based restaurant it required a strict adherence to time constrains when serving over 300 people in a 1 hour time slot. Things needs to be done on time and there was very little room for error, this is where I picked up some of my perfectionist mentality.
Hogs Breath , Adelaide
May 2007 - December 2009
At Hogs Breath cafe in Wagga Wagga during my time I was responsible for the opening and closing of the kitchen and ensuring all par levels and stock was at adequate levels to last the week. This is really where my systematic skills and mindset began to go to work, with designing and creating a stock system and always working on ways to be more efficient with cleaning and preparation work that needed to be done. I would often spend until the early hours of the morning once a week with the Head chef to clean the kitchen until it was sparkling. Just because it had to be done, this is where I really got my drive to get things done!
Freelancer to become Blueprint Solutions Pty Ltd , Adelaide
May 2006 - January 2013
During my years recently out of high school and moving to Adelaide I began freelancing in website design and development. Creating customer driven websites what we designed specifically to drive sales and provide a ROI. In my time as a freelance developer I made over 30+ sites for a range of companies, app creators and individuals in Australia, Dubai, London and America. This really opened my eyes to global trading and how connected the world really is now. That you don't physically need to be in another country to provide a service.
