Youngest Dancer in Joffrey Ballet Trainee Program

As the youngest student in the full-time trainee program at the Joffrey Ballet in New York City, Kaitlyn Fritz studies ballet as well as modern and jazz dance. After beginning her dance studies at age 4 with the Northwest Florida Ballet, she went on to train at such institutions as the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet and the Pennsylvania Classical Ballet. Kaitlyn Fritz has also received dance instruction from world-recognized dancers such as Gelsey Kirkland, and recently worked one-on-one with esteemed dancer and choreographer Stephen Pier during a photo shoot in New York City. Along with her extensive training in dance, Ms. Fritz has modeled and acted since her youth. While a young child, she competed in beauty pageants and repeatedly earned Grand Supreme awards. During her first appearance at the Miss Teen USA pageant in 2013, she placed in the finals and won the Miss Photogenic award. She has worked for the last several years as a model for Body Wrappers Dance Wear. At age 5, Kaitlyn Fritz played a leading role in a Blue Cross Blue Shield commercial, and was since featured in the movie Big Fish. In 2015, she will appear in the feature film The North Star, starring Clifton Powell, Thomas C. Bartley, Jr., and Jeremiah Trotter.
