Safe House Center provides crisis management and support services to survivors of intimate partner domestic violence and sexual assault. The Center also provides training to area community organizations with the goal of creating awareness regarding this epidemic. As a Shelter Advocate I provide case management for survivors entering our shelter program. Case management includes counseling and education regarding domestic violence and sexual assault, budget counseling, referral services, and support in attaining safe and sustainable housing. I provide crisis intervention for survivors experiencing immediate crisis situations, as well as educational workshops for community organizations.

Eastern Washtenaw Multicultural Academy is a Public School Academy located in Ann Arbor Michigan. The school works to provide culturally inclusive education representative of the student population. My role as an Early Childhood Classroom Teacher was to provide a educationally stimulating classroom for ages 4-5. I also held Mentoring responsibilities to incoming Kindergarten Teachers. As a Curriculum Coordinator, I worked to streamline grade level curriculum to accommodate diversity in student learning styles and level.

S.O.S. provides programming and support services to assist families with job placement, sustainable housing, budgeting, household emergency needs, and counseling. My role as a Youth Services Associate included creating, and implementing, children's programs to support child development and crisis management.

Eastern Michigan University's Holman Learning Center provides educational support for University students experiencing difficulty in courses. The center also provides supplemental instruction in courses with a historically low student success rate. As a Lead Tutor and Supplemental Instructor, I was responsible for creating individualized educational support sessions for students. I was also responsible for training incoming Tutors.
