In my career i have been fortunate enough to work on some of Australia’s leading and well known Brands. i started my career in media sales, where i worked across Print, Outdoor and Television. Those years gave me a solid grounding in the fundamentals of both media a marketing. I learned how to analyse audience data and research consumer behaviour. Eventually I decided to switch to the agency side of the fence to get greater exposure and influence in client communications. It was certainly the right and best decision for me. After my strong and well regarded role at OMD i was lured to the client side taking on a number of Contract projects finally settling into the role of Marketing Manager for Open Universities Australia/Open Training and Open2Study (which just happened to be a client a headed up from the Media Agency side for 7 years). This added layer of expertise has enabled me to be a very well rounded and highly experienced Marketing Manager. I have spent the past 4 years building my digital knowledge and offer truly integrated communication solutions for the brands across bought, earned and owned channels. I have driven clients digital strategies from SEM and SEO to Social media channels and programatic display. My approach to Strategy and Planning places the consumer at the heart of all activity and i like to challenge people to be as disruptive as may be required to engage with their audiences. There is not one single touchpoint that works well, but a combination of multiple engaging touch points that will work as layers for consumers and brands.
