Organising and planning a day-long event in Bristol, bringing Jimmy Wales (the founder and CEO of Wikipedia) to talk at two venues in the city, about Wikipedia’s history and it’s 10th Anniversary. I organised the contacting of the local and national media for coverage. Co-ran the LIVE webcast with Bristol City Council. Recorded video and audio and uploaded this to various media platforms for the world to see/hear. Ran and developed the popular blog site with daily blog posts and embed media about the event as it happened. Please visit: http://wp10bristol.posterous.com this site gained over 1,500 visitors +more during the week after it took place, and the hash-tag #wp10 became the UK’s most popular search term on Twitter.

Bristol Multi-Faith Forum

Capturing the media (photo’s, video and audio interviews) of attendees to a 2-day conference called “Making Sense: Faith in Society” held at The Council House, Bristol. Followed by a day-long open-day event called “Making Sense: Opening Doors” dropping in on different faith community’s in Bristol who were opening their doors to the public. We talk about current trends in Technology.. from Twitter to Facebook, from Microsoft to Apple and their iPads and iPhones - we talk about the latest biz around them, as well as focusing upon how and why use them for your business. In between features we play a good range of music. 1. co-presenting on a weekly 'business' radio show, talking about Social Media and Technology. 2. working on designing a new website for the station, using various web 2.0 platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Ustream and YouTube - all built using Wordpress.org
